This set of engaging woodland footprints is a great way for children to start their woodland explorations! The footprint stones can be sorted by categories such as homes, feathers, claws, and diet. Children can record their findings by taking rubbings, making impressions in play dough, and investigating what else they can find out about each animal. When the work is done, the children can give the footprints a good clean with soap and water before a new woodland adventure.

The footprints are made from a unique stone mix and are robust enough to be used throughout an early years setting, both inside and outdoors. Contains eight double-sided stones (70–80mm).

Pláneta reccomends

After your little one has finished playing with the stones, allow them to rinse them with warm water. Us grownups often forget that to a children usually enjoy giving a helping hand, plus cleaning can be an excellent opportunity for sensoy play.  Put a little bit of warm water in a sensory bin or a bucket and let the little one scrub the stones with a dishwashing brush.

Care

During rainy days or just when the weather doesn't seem ideal for outdoor play, it is normal to feel most relaxed within the comfort and safety of the house, but sometimes it can be to everyones benefit to put on a raincoat and go out and jump in puddles and play in the mud.
